Anyway, Jews should be proud to boycott Israel. The government is committing atrocities in their name. Jews who really care about human rights, and who remember the Holocaust, should strongly oppose the right-wing, aggressive Israeli government. They should demand that the U.S. government stop funding it until it withdraws. This is in no way conflicting with being a good Jew. Ha … well, if the site they designed were Israel, then yes, they might boycott it.

I mean, according to <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jacob_K._Javits" rel="nofollow">wiki</a>, <i>"Javits was, for a time, the only Jew in the U.S. Senate. (He was despised by Southern senators, namely James O. Eastland, who told him, "I don't like you - or your kind.")"</i> So apparently NY Politicians feared the potential confusion of a group helping architect a convention center named after a Jewish man and subsequently boycotting construction of the site they designed.
